What is the Researcher News?
The Researcher
News is an official newsletter serving NASA Langley Research Center
in Hampton, Va. The print edition is published every other Friday and
distributed to all Langley civil service employees, contractors and
retirees, with limited distribution to NASA Headquarters, other NASA
centers and, by special request, to other non-NASA individuals and organizations.
Its circulation is approximately 8,100.
The
Researcher News Online contains all of the content published
in the print edition and is accessible to everyone via the Internet.
Because of the publication schedule, the Researcher News Online often
will publish content before it appears in the print edition.
Questions
or comments about the content of the Researcher News should be
addressed to Managing Editor Keith
Henry.
2.
How do I change my mailing address?
Civil
service employees and contractors should submit a web based NASA Langley
Directory Change Notice LF41. This form is accessible on LaRCNET or
a Langley Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection.
Langley
retirees and off-site contractors should forward address changes to the
Editor at researcher-news@larc.nasa.gov.
3.
Who can submit content?
The
privilege of publishing in the Researcher News is restricted to Langley's
employees, contractors and retirees. Articles must be offered without
regard to race, color, religion, sex or national origin. All submitted
materials are subject to editing.
4.
How do I submit content?
Submissions
should be sent directly to the Editor at researcher-news@larc.nasa.gov. E-mail attachments are preferred, but content also may
be submitted via fax (757-864-6477) or mail (Mail Stop 154, 1 West Reid
Street, NASA Langley Research Center, Hampton, VA 23681-2199). Submissions
are not accepted over the phone.
5.
What are the publication dates and deadlines?
The
Researcher News is published every other Friday, 25 times a year.
Submissions are due by 5 p.m. two Mondays before the publication date
(nine business days).
Please
note that some content will be published to the Researcher News Online
independent of the following deadlines.
